Lesson Learned! Again!

Yesterday I violated a principal that I know very well. I made a quick decision based upon my instincts and personal desires. I didn’t take much time to think about it and I certainly didn’t stop to pray about it. I didn’t ask God for wisdom or help. Later, I was convicted about my impatience and failure to pray. As of this writing I do not yet know the impact of my decision, but I have confessed my sin and turned the decision and consequences over to God.

In the future, my desire is to ask God for wisdom before making decisions. Psalm 38:15 says, “But for you, O Lord, do I wait; it is you, O Lord my God, who will answer. “

After 16 years of vocational ministry, God has called me to a simpler ministry. Now I just proclaim His truth simply to those who are open to hear it. God is speaking through His Word and His creation.
