Setting Our Eyes
Psalm 101:3-4 "I will not set before my eyes anything that is worthless. I hate the work of those who fall away; it shall not cling to me. A perverse heart shall be far from me; I shall know nothing of evil." What we look at and focus on affects our desires, attitudes and subsequently, our actions. If we focus on material things or fame, we will pursue them at the cost of family, health, and integrity. If, however, we set our eyes on Jesus, we will gain godliness and life.
