Psalm 121:7-8 "The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore." God gives us two promises in these verses. First, He promises to keep evil from attacking us. Secondly, He promises to keep us from choosing to do evil. However, both promises only become effective when we trust Him to protect us. If we try to protect ourselves from evil in our own strength, God's protection will not come to us.
