Who God Is
Exodus 34:6-7 "The Lord passed before him and proclaimed, 'The Lord, the Lord, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, keeping steadfast love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but who will by no means clear the guilty.'" God describes Himself to Moses in these verses. If we say that we believe in God, we must affirm that this is the God we believe in. If we reject God, we are rejecting the God who is characterized by these qualities. I choose to give my life to the God who is merciful, gracious, faithful, forgiving, and loving.
