II Corinthians 10:12 "Not that we dare to classify or compare ourselves with some of those who are commending themselves. But when they measure themselves by one another and compare themselves with one another, they are without understanding." Comparing yourself with others is a fruitless exercise. You will always be better than some and worse off than others. Other people do not provide a helpful standard by which we should evaluate ourselves. Instead, we are called to be imitators of God. He is a true and reliable standard for conduct and fruitfulness.
