Abounding Love
Philippians 1:9-10 "And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ." These verses tell us two things about love that we don't normally think about. First, love grows with knowledge. As we grow in knowledge of God, and grow in knowledge of others, we will be able to love both of them better. Secondly, love helps us make better decisions. When we eliminate selfishness, and instead love from a pure heart, we will wise decisions.
