Rooted and Built Up
Colossians 2:6-7 "Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving." Our walk with God begins when we receive the gift of salvation in Jesus Christ. But so much more awaits the new believer as he or she becomes rooted and grounded in faith. Joy inexpressible, abounding love, and secure hope are just a few of the blessings guaranteed to the person of faith.
