Breatplates and Helmets
I Thessalonians 5:8 "But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet the hope of salvation." Faith and love guard our hearts like a soldier's body armor protects his heart. Hope protects our minds like a football player's helmet protects his head. Unlike these two physical protections, faith, love, and hope never fail.
