Mark 10:43-44 "But it shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be slave of all." Many of Jesus' teachings contradicted the culture of His time and still contradict our cultural norms. His teachings reflect God's wisdom rather than human understanding. A person who desires to become a leader must first learn to serve those whom he seeks to lead.
