Good Samaritan

In Luke 10 Jesus tells the story of the Good Samaritan. A man is left for dead on the road after he was beaten and robbed. A religious person and an official passed him by without helping him. Finally, a man whom society looked down upon stopped and attended to the man's needs. Jesus asked, "Which of these three, do you think, proved to be a neighbor to the man who fell among the robbers?" A certain man answered, "The one who showed him mercy." And Jesus said to him, "You go, and do likewise." Mercy is compassion or forgiveness shown toward someone who needs it. God is rich in mercy toward us so it behooves us to extend mercy to each other.

After 16 years of vocational ministry, God has called me to a simpler ministry. Now I just proclaim His truth simply to those who are open to hear it. God is speaking through His Word and His creation.
