In God We Trust

My license plate has the phrase “In God We Trust” imprinted on it by the state. Our currency still has this phrase printed on it. The phrase is often part of government seals and logos. I don’t know how much the phrase really captures the hearts of those who display it. But I do know that if we truly believed these words, and lived by them, then our lives and society would be drastically changed for the better.

Psalm 56:3-4 says, “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?” When we trust in God, He removes our fears and anxieties. He has all wisdom and power. He conquers our enemies. What then shall we fear?

After 16 years of vocational ministry, God has called me to a simpler ministry. Now I just proclaim His truth simply to those who are open to hear it. God is speaking through His Word and His creation.
