When I was a kid I was always outside playing sports with the neighborhood kids. Every day we would choose sides. Besides the tension of hoping I would get picked, there was the stress of wanting to be selected for the best team. I didn’t just want to play, I wanted to win.
Matthew 25:31-32 says, “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.” Some day soon we will see Jesus sitting on His glorious throne. Those of us who have trusted in Jesus for salvation will inherit the kingdom of God. But those who never trusted in Jesus for salvation will receive eternal suffering. We all get to choose which team we will be on. Choose the winning team by trusting in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Salvation, redemption and eternal life depend upon your choice.
