Child of God

In our culture, there are many ways to become someone’s child. Of course, the most common is through natural childbirth. But an adopted child is no less of a child of his/her parents than one through a natural childbirth. They have all the rights, privileges, love and caring of other children.

John 1:12-13 says, “But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.” Those who trust in Jesus as Savior and Lord become His children. And as our Heavenly Father, God loves each of us with an everlasting and abundant love, deeply caring for us. As His child we have all the rights, privileges, love and inheritance of everyone in His family.

After 16 years of vocational ministry, God has called me to a simpler ministry. Now I just proclaim His truth simply to those who are open to hear it. God is speaking through His Word and His creation.
