Just As I Have Loved You

We search for true love and we believe that we can give true love. Then why doesn’t love last a lifetime? Maybe it is because our efforts to love and be loved are tainted with selfishness, pride, self-centeredness, lust, greed, and pride.

John 13:34-35 says, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” Jesus wants us to love each other as He loved us. He is, therefore, calling us to love each other unselfishly, humbly, completely, and purely. This kind of love only comes from a heart that knows the love of God and has surrendered to His grace and mercy.

After 16 years of vocational ministry, God has called me to a simpler ministry. Now I just proclaim His truth simply to those who are open to hear it. God is speaking through His Word and His creation.
