Changed Lives

Have you ever sat under instruction that changed your life? Perhaps it was some form of financial class that helped you better secure your future along with providing for your family now. Maybe it was some stress management seminar that helped you deal with the anxieties you face. Good instruction can improve our lives if we apply it properly.

I Timothy 1:5 says, “The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.” The purpose of our faith is not just to receive eternal salvation, but also to experience a changed life evidenced by love from a pure heart, a good conscience and sincerity of faith. The life changing messages that we receive directly from God in His Word and indirectly through faithful teachers of His Word, can and should move us to change by the power of God’s Holy Spirit. Our hearts do not change by the force of willpower, but rather through the impact of the Holy Spirit within us and in response to God’s love, grace, and mercy.

After 16 years of vocational ministry, God has called me to a simpler ministry. Now I just proclaim His truth simply to those who are open to hear it. God is speaking through His Word and His creation.
