No matter how weak we think that we are, God has given each of us talents and abilities. If we are believers in Jesus Christ, God expects us to use the gifts that He has given us to build up the church. But God also wants us, believers and nonbelievers, to use our abilities to serve others, rather than to seek personal glory.
I Peter 4:10 says, “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” Whatever gifts, talents, and abilities that we have, were given to us by God to serve others, not for our own glory but for His. After all, it is only by His grace that we have these abilities.
