If we are fortunate enough to invest in certain businesses, we expect certain rates of returns on our investment. We want to see our funds multiply over time and be able to reap some benefits.
God does the same thing with us. He gives us grace and mercy and expects these investments to reap the rewards of thanksgiving, praise, proclaiming the gospel, and bearing fruit for His glory. If we are faithful in these rewards, God will multiply His investments in us.
Psalm 40:5 says, “You have multiplied, O LORD my God, your wondrous deeds and your thoughts toward us; none can compare with you! I will proclaim and tell of them, yet they are more than can be told.” Let God put a new song of His wondrous deeds in your heart today; giving you a new perspective, new attitude, and new hopes. Other people will take note and be drawn to God.
