Finding Our Way

Most mornings, I am out walking before dawn. Of course,  this means that I am walking in the dark.  Fortunately, I do have the lights of the moon, street lamps, and passing vehicles. Some light is necessary for me to safely find my way. Life is like that, in that we can use some light to find our way.

Psalm 43:3-4 says, “Send out your light and your truth; let them lead me; let them bring me to your holy hill and to your dwelling! Then I will go to the altar of God, to God my exceeding joy, and I will praise you with the lyre, O God, my God.” Following the light that God shows us and seeking His truth leads us into the very presence of God. There, we experience exceeding joy. In His light, we find the right path for our lives.

After 16 years of vocational ministry, God has called me to a simpler ministry. Now I just proclaim His truth simply to those who are open to hear it. God is speaking through His Word and His creation.
