Walk With God

One of my favorite things to do is to take a walk on a nature trail while speaking with God, the creator of all that I see. Enjoying the beautiful scenery while thinking about God and all that He has done for me draws me into His presence. I am reminded of His promises and His grace extended to me.

Psalm 119:58-59 says, “58 I entreat your favor with all my heart; be gracious to me according to your promise.   59 When I think on my ways, I turn my feet to your testimonies.” Prayer and meditation are essential ingredients of a close walk with God. Prayer is having a conversation with God as He speaks of His promises. Meditation is concentrated thinking on God’s Word and His works.

After 16 years of vocational ministry, God has called me to a simpler ministry. Now I just proclaim His truth simply to those who are open to hear it. God is speaking through His Word and His creation.
