When we want our car to be clean, we take it to a car wash or wash it ourselves. Almost as soon as we drive the first mile after washing it, the car begins to attract dirt again. The same thing is true when we wash our hands. After washing,as soon as we touch something, we begin to contact the germs, bacteria, and grime that make our hands dirty again.
Exodus 15:11 says, “”Who is like you, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like you, majestic in holiness, awesome in glorious deeds, doing wonders?” Our God is majestic in holiness. Therefore, He gives the Holy Spirit to those who believe in Him so that we may walk in holiness by His power. We become clean through the regeneration of the Holy Spirit within us.
