We Need Each Other

I am an extremely introverted person. Being with people drains my energy. Often, I need to take time alone to recharge after social activity. Yet even I know that I need other people. I need to give and receive love and support. I also know that I am better with other people.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 says, “Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!” Whether we want to admit it or not, we need each other. God gave us life to be in communion with other people. We are better people and can do better things with the love and support of others.

After 16 years of vocational ministry, God has called me to a simpler ministry. Now I just proclaim His truth simply to those who are open to hear it. God is speaking through His Word and His creation.
