Vision of Heaven

We all have a vision for our future. We have goals that we want to achieve. Sometimes, we can almost see the future of our lives. Of course, none of this is set in stone. Our goals may change due to our choice or circumstances beyond our control. However, we do have a vision of heaven given first by God to the apostle John and then written down for us in God’s Word.

John was given a vision of eternity and heaven when he wrote, “And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying, ‘To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever.” Every creature will utter these praises to God. Many will do it out of celebration of eternity with God. Others will utter these praises out of sadness, fear, desperation, and regret for having rejected God throughout their lives and then being separated from Him for eternity.

After 16 years of vocational ministry, God has called me to a simpler ministry. Now I just proclaim His truth simply to those who are open to hear it. God is speaking through His Word and His creation.
