Waters Cover the Sea

Today, we spent some time on the shore of Lake Michigan. As far as we could see, we could only see water. I don’t know how much water is in this lake, but I do know that it’s a lot of water, and this is just one of the Great Lakes.

Habbakuk 2:14 says, “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.” Whether we choose to acknowledge this truth or not, God has covered the whole earth with the knowledge of His glory. It can be seen in the birds in flight, the waves on the seas, the crash of lightning and thunder, the power of a mighty waterfall, and the precious cry of a newly born baby. In the end, we will all bow to the knowledge of His glory.

After 16 years of vocational ministry, God has called me to a simpler ministry. Now I just proclaim His truth simply to those who are open to hear it. God is speaking through His Word and His creation.
