No matter what side of the aisle that you consider yourself to be, current events in our nation and the world are troubling. Few things are working out as we would want and it is easy to become frustrated, even worried about the state of the world.
Philippians 3:20-21 says, “But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.” It is easy to become overwhelmed by world and societal events surrounding us. It is then that we should remember that this world is not our home, but rather we belong to God’s heavenly kingdom. Even our weak earthly bodies will be transformed into glorious eternal bodies by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
