Parades

I have seen some pretty spectacular parades in my many years. I used to go to the Rose Parade in Pasadena quite frequently. It is a wonderful display of flowers, marching bands, dignitaries, and civic pride. Many countries have annual parades displaying their military strength. Some places use fireworks or drone lighting to light up the sky in spectacular displays. Despite all these parades, we have never seen the unmatched glory of the Lord as promised in the return of Jesus Christ to gather His people unto Himself at the end of this age.

Psalm 24:7-8 says, “Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty, the Lord, mighty in battle!” God’s glory is unmatched and unsurpassed. He calls us to open our hearts to let Him in and to let His power reign to fight our battles.

After 16 years of vocational ministry, God has called me to a simpler ministry. Now I just proclaim His truth simply to those who are open to hear it. God is speaking through His Word and His creation.
