Have you ever been to an escape room? I went to one, but it was in a children’s science museum. This one was fairly basic. You enter and immediately find a clue. You must answer the clue directly to find and answer the next clue. After a series of clues, answered correctly, you make it to your destination. God has done similar things with his creation, mankind. He has created each one and put each one in a designed place with clues as to His identity and work. As we pursue the answers to these clues, we draw closer to God. It is not in our effort, but rather in God’s drawing us near, that we find Him and our purpose.
Acts 17:26-27 says, “And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him.” It is God who created man and from the one man He created the nations. They settled in the places that God had determined beforehand. All this design was so that these nations could seek after God and not after their own desires.
