Whatever man builds, creates, or does has a limited lifespan. It will decay or become obsolete in a relatively short time. Even in the short time period that our works are useful, these works may not be used as we intended.
Ecclesiastes 3:14 says, “I perceived that whatever God does endures forever; nothing can be added to it, nor anything taken from it. God has done it, so that people fear before him.” God does His works and nothing can be added to them to make them better or more fruitful. He will also not allow anything to be taken away from His plan and purpose. All His works will bring Him glory so that all people will honor Him.
