Some people really know how to give the best gifts. They understand the people that they give to and seem to know what is needed in the moment. Some people can bring out the best in us. They know how to support, encourage, correct, inspire, and help when needed.
Psalm 28:8-9 says, “The Lord is the strength of his people; he is the saving refuge of his anointed. Oh, save your people and bless your heritage! Be their shepherd and carry them forever.” What separates our faith from the world’s religions is the relationship that believers have with our God. He is the one that we run to when we need help and protection. He is our strength and salvation. He is our Good Shepherd, who leads us and carries us when we can go no further. He gives us every good gift.
