We are in the habit of waiting expectantly for something good. We do this with Prime deliveries, Christmas, vacations, and many other good things. Knowing that something good is coming gives us hope and strength to carry on when things are not so good.
Psalm 27:13-14 says, “I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living! Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!” For God’s people, knowing that God is always good gives us strength and courage. This knowledge allows us to wait upon Him without fear for whatever we need.
