When we receive or witness good news, we want to share it with others. When a baby is born, the news spreads quickly over social media, phone calls, texts, and personal contacts. The same is true of job promotions, engagements, healings, and a variety of other occasions to rejoice. Both the sender and receivers celebrate the good news.
I Chronicles 16:24 says, “Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples.” As the people of God, we have the awesome opportunity to see God’s marvelous works and then to declare His glory among all people. We share the good news of salvation, redemption, help, grace, mercy, and steadfast love.
