Words of Instruction

Sometimes we listen to the advice and wisdom of others, but quickly forget what we have been taught. The instructions were true and useful, but we don’t use the instruction because we have forgotten what was told to us.

Proverbs 22:17-19 says, “Incline your ear, and hear the words of the wise, and apply your heart to my knowledge, for it will be pleasant if you keep them within you, if all of them are ready on your lips. That your trust may be in the LORD, I have made them known to you today, even to you.” Hearing God’s words, applying them, remembering them, and speaking them increases our faith and makes our paths pleasant.

After 16 years of vocational ministry, God has called me to a simpler ministry. Now I just proclaim His truth simply to those who are open to hear it. God is speaking through His Word and His creation.
