At times, we will hear someone speak and we immediately think that what we heard could help us. These words may have come from a trusted advisor or a known expert. But, if we don’t take action based on those words, the words have simply tickled our ears and made no impact upon our lives.
Ezekiel 3:10 says, “Moreover, he said to me, “Son of man, all my words that I shall speak to you receive in your heart, and hear with your ears.” This verse speaks of two physical body and spiritual organs that God uses to call us to faithfully follow Him. We should set our ears to hear God speak to us, while also setting our hearts to receive and implant His words into our hearts.
