Our friendships change over time. As children, we had friendships based upon play. As we got older, we developed friendships that provided mutual interests and beneficial relationships. As we got still older, we looked for something deeper, a merging of the souls, a caring about the whole person and learning from them.
Psalm 25:14 says, “The friendship of the Lord is for those who fear him, and he makes known to them his covenant.” Those who walk closely with God will know His guidance, blessing, and lovingkindness. God will give this person knowledge and understanding of His promises.
