For me, it is always good when an instruction book is included with a new product that I have purchased. But imagine the futility of having the instruction book but not reading it or reading it and then ignoring the instructions. But we do that same thing with life. God has given us an instruction book for life, His Word. Yet most of us don’t read it or don’t pay attention to its instructions.
Revelation 1:3 says, “Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy and heed the things which are written in it; for the time is near.” God blesses those who read and hear His Word. Even greater blessing is upon those who act according to what they read and hear in His Word.
