Blessings

We have all kinds of ways of blessing other people, should we choose to do so. We can write encouraging notes, speak words of support, do kind and generous things, provide financial guidance and support, or just be there as a friend to listen.

God promised to bless His people in Numbers 6:22-26 by saying, “The LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, Thus you shall bless the people of Israel: you shall say to them, The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.” These blessings for God’s people, Israel, remain true today for God’s people. He promises to bless our lives in everyday affairs. He promises to hold us securely. He will look upon us with His favor, by grace, fulfilling our needs. He reconciles us to Himself, giving us peace with God and the peace of God.

After 16 years of vocational ministry, God has called me to a simpler ministry. Now I just proclaim His truth simply to those who are open to hear it. God is speaking through His Word and His creation.
