Honor

Some people we honor due to their achievements. Some others earn honor based upon their position. Honor is given to those in authority.

I Timothy 6:15-16 says, “he who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone has immortality, who dwells in unapproachable light, whom no one has ever seen or can see. To him be honor and eternal dominion. Amen.” Our God alone is ruler over all authorities and kingdoms forever. He alone possesses immortality. He dwells in the light and glory of His holiness. His presence is majesty and splendor and deserving of all reverence.
