When we go to a tax consultant, we should be prepared. We bring the receipts and legal documents. We should be mentally ready to answer questions. We should have a humble attitude to accept good advice from the expert.
Ecclesiastes 5:1-2 says, “Guard your steps when you go to the house of God. To draw near to listen is better than to offer the sacrifice of fools, for they do not know that they are doing evil. Be not rash with your mouth, nor let your heart be hasty to utter a word before God, for God is in heaven and you are on earth. Therefore let your words be few.” Drawing near to God’s presence is coming into a holy place. We should make sure that our hearts are pure and our minds are set our minds on things above. Be prepared to listen to God’s voice and not just speak about bunch of words.
