As we grow older we acquire many informal titles along the way. Some of these may be precious child, good student, intern, college graduate, employee, manager, and so on. We are proud of our achievements and regret our failings.
Psalm 84:11 says, “For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly.” Like the sun God lights the way for His people. Like a mighty shield God protects His people from evil forces. Like a benevolent king God grants favor and honor to those who walk with Him. Like a good Father God does not withhold any good thing from His children.
