When we say that we know someone, there are many different levels of knowledge that we may be speaking of. We may know a person simply by name only. A deeper knowledge level comes with meeting and talking with them. A still deeper knowledge comes with spending time with them and going through many experiences with them.
John 17:3 says, “And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.” When we trust in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, we begin a relationship with the living God. Our life goal becomes knowing God more day by day. Knowing Him is eternal life and endures forever.
