As I have walked through life; I have noticed that I am an outcast in many places and with many people. Some I have chosen to remain on the outside due to other interests or values. Some I have been outcast from due to the interests of those inside and something about me doesn’t fit those interests. Other times, I have been harshly treated and made an outcast unjustly by those who think that I don’t meet their standards.
Zephaniah 3:19 says, “Behold, at that time I will deal with all your oppressors. And I will save the lame and gather the outcast, and I will change their shame into praise and renown in all the earth.” At the end of days, God will gather his people together before Him. Though His people will suffer and be thrown away by the world, He will turn our shame into praise and honor in His everlasting kingdom.
