John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
This verse is central to all of scripture and presents us with the good news of the gospel. God loves us with an everlasting love. But our sin separates us from His holy presence. God has bridged the gap between us by placing all our sin upon His Son, Jesus Christ, and making him the only acceptable sacrifice for our sins. Therefore, if we believe in Jesus as our Lord and Savior, then we will not perish in eternal separation from God. Instead, God gives us eternal life in His kingdom. Remember these truths. Believe in Jesus’ and His sacrifice. Rejoice, thank God, and live for Him.
