Every nation on earth speaks of peace. But their definition of peace generally includes terms that advantageous for them. People speak of peace, as well. But when we are crossed, peace is often far from our thoughts. An everlasting kingdom of peace has been established and is increasing.
Speaking of the Messiah, Isaiah wrote (Isaiah 9:7), “Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this.” God is very passionate about His kingdom of grace, peace, justice, and righteousness. Through the work of Jesus Christ, this kingdom is increasing and will stand forevermore.
